3) If you live in the city of Miramichi you can pick up an application at the Miramichi Police Station during their office hours.
*NOTE* We also require a current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check from your local police station. The forms required for the police check are located at the police station. Please bring 2 pieces of government issued ID as well as a copy of our Volunteer Letter.

Wednesday, April 26th, 7pm: Map and Compass course.
Saturday, April 15th, 9am: Basic Searcher course. Mandatory for new members, a good refresher for all members.
Wednesday, April 12th: New Member Info Session 6pm, Executive Meeting 7pm, SAR-NIF meeting 8:30pm
We are recruiting! New Member Information Sessions are open to the public, must be 18 or older to join the team.
Sunday, April 2nd, 9am: Map and Compass Training followed by D4H training; 16 members attended.

Our members had a great volunteering at the event (especially while dancing to Raglan Road’s amazing tunes!)
March 23-24: Members sold Quilt Raffle tickets at the Beaubear Co-op. Thanks everyone for your support, we sold over $300 in tickets! Draw date: May 14th
February 25th: The team was invited to the 1st Responders Breakfast hosted by the Kinsmen of Miramichi. Thanks to the Kinsmen for the $1000 donation!

February 18th-19th: 3 members of the MGSAR Executive attended the NBGSARA Board of Directors meeting in Fredericton. Had a productive Ice Storm 2017 debriefing with our partners, NBEMO on Sunday.

February 10th: Betty Doyle from Nelson donated a beautiful handmade, reversible, queen size quilt. Tickets go on sale February 12th, draw date May 14th. 1/$2 or 3/$5.
2017 Quilt Raffle
January 27th – February 1st: The MGSAR team were activated by EMO to assist with Ice Storm 2017 in the Acadian Peninsula.
January 22nd at 3pm: Annual General Meeting – Mandatory for all members.
January 22nd at 1pm: MGSAR Executive meeting
January 21st at 8:30am: Searcher 1 course @ MGSAR base. Mandatory course for new members, a great refresher for all members. FREE training, lunch included.
January 14th @ 10am and January 18th @6pm: MGSAR Info Sessions; open to the public; located at the MGSAR base (71 Thornycroft St)
